Bionic INS

Inertial Navigation System

The INS system calculates position and orientation based on accelerometers and gyros.

The system is plug and play and will automatically calculate the noise and frequency characteristics of the sensors.
The system contains a proprietary algorithm for standby detection that fuses all sensor channels.
The system has earth spin correction and can navigate in "dead reconing mode" at sensor input with 6 degrees of freedom.
Alternatively, additional input from magnetometers, speedometers and GPS receivers can be merged - which will increase performance.

The system can be implemented on most platforms, including microcontrollers.
